Looking for an Apprenticeship? Look no further then Coveris. We specialise in high performance packaging and are looking for new talent to join our team. There is an exciting opportunity at our Spalding site, to work in our finishing department as a coater apprentice. You will be producing our liner-less labels and training within a leading European packaging company.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Learn how to operate a Comac Linerless coating machine
  • Learn the setting up and running of a silicon and adhesive application
  • Learn how to input data via Prism
  • Finish the Linerless labels to a high standard
  • Working to schedules and other instructions issued by the Factory Manager and Print & Finishing Supervisors
  • Ability to manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business
  • Ability to use own initiative, when necessary
  • Must be neat and tidy in working practices
  • Report all Health &Safety issues in keeping with company procedure
  • Liaise with the internal teams at regular intervals
  • Provide assistance as and when required to customers and on-site visitors
  • Ensure good communication with supervisors and print managers
