An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Cut Crease Operator to join our Production team based at Coveris UK’s Wisbech site. This is a great chance to enter the production environment, with various production roles available in the future for professional development.

You will complete a Level 3 Print Technician qualification via Learn 2 Print over 2 years. You would be required to attend training 1 day per week. There may also be a requirement to visit some of our Lincolnshire sites to learn some different print processes.

Starting rate of £6.80ph.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the department to achieve KPIs and quality levels set by the site
  • Ensure day to day running of the cut crease machines in the cut crease cell are fully utilised and optimised including covering breaks where possible
  • Report any issues to the Shift Manager that affect SQD throughout the shift
  • Achieve machine targets speed to be optimised where possible
  • Assist with monitoring and control cut crease quality using the appropriate documentation
  • Complete all related paperwork and input data onto the ERP system accurately
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the cut crease cell and surrounding areas
  • Ensure the machine and equipment is maintained - raising any Engineering T Cards when necessary
  • Assist with filling out Production feedback forms when you incur downtime or input errors
  • Support the Shift Manager in concluding internal spoilage investigations and customer complaints
  • Ensure all metrics are populated on the machine
  • Gain experience and knowledge of the cell to provide additional support
  • Ensure all standard SOP’s are adhered to
